Weaverville Art Safari Opens 36 Studios for November 7–8 Weekend |
A free self-guided tour features 85 artists and an autumn weekend exploring the creative communities around Weaverville |

A creative weekend beyond downtown Asheville
The Weaverville Art Safari returns November 7–8, 2026, with an invitation to meet artists where they make their work.
The free, self-guided event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and features 85 local artists across 36 studios in the Weaverville area.
Visitors can travel from studio to studio at their own pace, encountering ceramics, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, fiber arts and other original creations.
Meet the makers
One of the event's biggest attractions is the opportunity to talk with artists in their studios, learn how their work is created and discover pieces not typically seen in a conventional gallery setting.
Studio visits also offer a glimpse of the communities and landscapes north of Asheville that inspire many Western North Carolina makers.
The Art Safari is more than a shopping trip; it is a celebration of working artists and the connections between art and place.
Plan your route
There is no single venue. Participating studios are spread across the Weaverville area, so visitors should consult the official studio map before leaving home and choose a manageable route.
Some studios may have limited parking or accessibility, and driving between stops is generally necessary.
With two days available, guests can divide the tour into smaller visits rather than trying to see every studio at once.
